For EXP Journeys, travel has always meant more than the destinations we explore; we care about the experience and impact we leave behind. This is why we create each trip to connect people, protect places, and give back to communities that welcome us.
This December, we are incredibly proud to share a significant milestone that reflects our values: EXP Journeys is now a Certified B Corporation. What began in December 2022 as a team conversation about formalizing our commitment to meaningful, mindful travel has grown into a structured path that puts social and environmental responsibility at the forefront of every adventure.
More Than a Label
B Corp certification is a promise that reflects rigorous standards across five key areas: environment, community, customers, governance, and workers. Joining this global movement means holding ourselves accountable to the highest level of transparency, impact, and purpose, and importantly, balancing profit with doing what’s right for our clients, employees, partners, and the world.
The certification process was thorough and rewarding, with our team spending months reviewing policies, assessing operations, and ensuring that everything reflected our core values. Every decision for each trip was evaluated through the lens of responsibility and impact. Being a B Corp means continually striving to make travel more sustainable and socially impactful.

2025: A Roundup of Impact
This year has been incredible for EXP. We have continued to reduce environmental footprints, support vital projects, and build meaningful partnerships on the ground. Guests have witnessed breathtaking landscapes, hiked through deserts, and enjoyed experiences from peaceful river floats in the Old West to surfing the Pacific coastline. But aside from the adventures and landscapes, one of the most meaningful aspects is seeing how they have engaged with local guides, artisans, and the community, offering an insightful look into cultures and ecosystems.
Through the EXP Foundation, which we set up this past January, a portion of every trip supports local nonprofits in our most-visited destinations, from wildlife preservation at the Turner Endangered Species Fund and the Teton Raptor Center to cultural programs like Yee Ha’ólníi Doo.
In 2025, we are proud to have donated $37,035 and increased our volunteer hours by 50% already – a meaningful start and one we hope will continue to grow with your support.

When you take a journey with EXP, you are shaping the destination because every experience, connection, and act of giving back contributes to mindful exploration. With our partners and clients, we are building a more responsible, inclusive, and sustainable way to see the world around us.
We are so excited about the future of EXP Journeys with B Corp status and the continuation of our EXP Foundation, demonstrating how travel can drive positive change. But we couldn’t have made this impact without you. So, we want to take the chance to thank all our clients who traveled with us in 2025, making it a year to remember.
