EXP recently took two clients on a custom privately guided journey through the Southwest highlighting the National Parks and recreation areas. Guests were staying at the spectacular Amangiri Resort where their guide, Kevin Jackson, would meet them and take them around the best parts of the Southwest.
The trip started in Las Vegas and then continued with a visit to Zion National Park on their way to Amangiri. There are several great short hikes in Zion National Park including the overlook as well as Emerald Pools and the River Walk.
The following day the guests went out into the Vermillion Cliffs and hiked through Wire Pass to Buckskin Gulch. The hike was cut short due the chance of rain but nonetheless it was great seeing the petroglyph panel at the junction to Buckskin Gulch.
The next day was a helicopter flight over to the Grand Canyon National Park seeing the canyon from the air. The flight is one the most spectacular vistas in the area and something guests will never forget. After the flight there were several short walks along the rim including the Rim Trail as well as Grandview Point.
The final day was certainly the highlight spending several hours out on Lake Powell in a private open bow Cobalt boat. The guests explored deep into the slot canyons and had their very own Antelope Canyon all to themselves.
On the final day the guests explored Bryce Canyon National Park and with perfect weather it was the best way to finish an amazing trip.
